La Grande Mare Health Suite opened in January 1999 and is yet another addition to this fantastic resort. It has a Roman theme, with ornamental pillars and a landscape mural adorning the wall and under the direction of the Health Suite Manager, Brendan McKernan, Bsc, fully qualified instructors are always available to provide the highest standards of professional care.

The Olympian gymnasium is equipped with the latest Technogym cardio vascular equipment, including Technogym’s own resistance equipment, Vectra free weights and Polar HR monitoring. To ensure a lively atmosphere, temperature control, televisions and a sound system are all in operation in the gymnasium.

The magnificent wet suite is comprised of a 40’ indoor swimming pool, an eight person spa and large Helo steam and sauna units. Visitors to the Health Suite can utilise the finest oak locker rooms and, of course, have access to Café La Grande Mare which has a choice of health eating options available.
